P&C Insurance Pricing Analyst

We are partnering with a leading U.S. insurance organization seeking an experienced P&C Insurance Pricing Analyst to support the delivery and configuration of rating solutions across its Property & Casualty insurance products.
This role would suit someone who combines strong P&C insurance knowledge with hands-on experience using rating platforms such as Earnix, Ratabase or Radar. You will work closely with pricing, underwriting, actuarial, predictive modelling and technology teams to translate complex rating requirements into effective system solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse existing rating rules, calculations and legacy system logic
- Translate actuarial and pricing specifications into clear functional requirements
- Configure rates, rating inputs and business rules within Earnix, Ratabase or Radar
- Support the integration of rating platforms with Policy Administration Systems
- Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and transformation logic
- Identify data dependencies, model integrations and downstream impacts
- Partner with pricing, underwriting and predictive modelling teams
- Manage product backlogs and contribute to Agile ceremonies
- Maintain clear traceability between business requirements and implementation
- Communicate progress, risks and dependencies across business, IT and offshore teams
Required experience:
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance rating principles and methodologies
- Experience working with Policy Administration Systems and the end-to-end premium lifecycle
- Hands-on configuration or development experience with Earnix, Ratabase or Radar
- Strong business and systems analysis capabilities
- Experience translating actuarial requirements into functional specifications
- Knowledge of insurance pricing, underwriting and predictive modelling processes
- Experience producing user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Experience within personal lines or auto insurance would be particularly valuable.
