The Role
We are seeking an Experienced Accountant to join our growing company. You will be supported by a team of professionals in other specialized areas that help make your daily duties as an Accountant easier.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Posting all incoming forms of income
- Paying invoices for utilities and vendors
- Creating and charging Invoices for our Maintenance Department
- Processing move out dispositions for tenants
- Processing close out dispositions for owners
- Producing monthly owners statements
- Managing and ensuring accurate tenant ledgers
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts
- Complete utility and triple net reconciliations
- Submitting owner and vendor 1099 forms
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have accounting education and/or 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Quickbooks and Google Docs
- Able to prioritize under stress to meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of Appfolio a plus
