About The Role

We're looking for an organized, customer-focused Maintenance Support Specialist to keep our maintenance operations running smoothly. You'll be the central point of contact for incoming service requests, making sure each work order is reviewed, assigned to the right internal technician or vendor, and completed on time. You'll also prepare cost estimates for smaller jobs, keep customers and internal teams informed, handle material and appliance ordering, and provide administrative support. This role suits someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, solving problems, and delivering great service.

What You'll Do

• Respond to a high volume of phone calls and emails, providing prompt and professional assistance
• Manage maintenance inquiries, resolve account issues, and ensure timely follow-up
• Prepare cost estimates for routine and small-scale repairs that fall outside large projects, covering labor, materials and vendor quotes, and send them for approval
• Maintain accurate records and process transactions using company systems
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents to promote satisfaction and retention
• Participate in team meetings, projects, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update procedural documentation and workflows
• Assist with departmental and cross-functional projects as needed
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in residential property management, facilities maintenance, or home services.
• 2 years of experience in a coordination, dispatch, customer service, or administrative role.
• Experience with Property Meld or similar maintenance management software.
• Familiarity with the greater Charlotte area and local vendors or contractors.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record-keeping.
• Experience ordering appliances or materials and working with vendors.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance trades and terminology.

Salary Description

20.00 - 22.00 per hour
