Director of CTE and CCMR
Federally funded administrative position that will oversee, plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Career and Technology Education (CTE) program and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) program for students throughout the district, especially ensuring coordination and accountability from Grades 6 through 12.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in education or related field and Master's degree with administrative certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of graduation requirements
Knowledge of career development
Knowledge of Career and Technology Education
Knowledge of College, Career, and Military Readiness indicators, pathways for industry certification, post-secondary training, FAFSA/TAFSA completion, college entrance requirements and exams
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to students, parents, and district staff
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience at a secondary campus
Minimum 5 years of experience in post-secondary planning with students
Minimum 3 years of experience as a campus-level administrator
