Henderson & Gardner is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys client service, leadership, mentoring staff, and helping drive the strategic growth of a dynamic public accounting firm.

What You'll Do

• Manage a diverse portfolio of individual, business, trust tax clients

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing proactive tax planning and consulting services

• Review complex tax returns and research technical tax issues

• Lead client meetings and develop long-term client relationships

• Mentor, develop, and coach tax staff and seniors

• Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and engagement planning

• Work closely with firm leadership on practice development and strategic initiatives

• Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver additional value to clients

• Stay current on federal and state tax law developments and communicate their impact to clients and staff

Qualifications

• CPA license required

• 8 years of public accounting tax experience preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and trust taxation

• Proven experience managing client relationships and leading engagement teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and project management abilities

• Experience reviewing and mentoring staff

• Desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm

Salary Range $150,000-$190,000
