Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations
- Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility
- Collect and review patient documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for billing and clinical purposes
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental scheduling software; coordinate with clinical staff for timely patient flow
- Answer phone calls professionally, providing clear communication about appointment details, insurance questions, or billing inquiries
- sending out prior authorizations for major dental procedures to private dental insurances.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office administration or front desk support within a healthcare setting; clinic or dental clinic experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes including verification, claims submission, and collections.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software quickly
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and data entry tasks
