Senior Accountant - Attractive Long Term Growth! - Central Omaha Location - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE!
Local business owner is searching for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join the team due to this firm’s growth and years of hard work and success. Excellent opportunity for an experienced, “been there done that” professional who can lend a fresh set of eyes to the accounting function and take responsibility for the quality of this company’s financials. This is a tremendously attractive role for an experienced accounting / financial professional to work for an owner who values accounting - who needs someone he can trust in this key hire.
Responsibilities
- Step into a hands-on accounting role where you'll own the monthly account and reporting process for two sister companies
- Enjoy a nice mix of heads-down prep work and review-level oversight, without the pressure (or headaches) of directly supervising staff
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and client billing
- Forecasting, analysis and yearly budget preparation
- Business strategy - working hand in hand with the leadership team to ensure that everyone is informed and educated on the financial state of the business and the financial implications of their decisions
- Be part of a “we’ve got your back” kind of team - everyone’s willing to jump in and help
