What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the cleanliness and orderliness of park grounds (lawns, shrubs, trees, landscaping, and vegetation).
- Assist in maintaining all lawn/landscaped areas with park lines (mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding).
- Cleans and removes litter from parks, parking lot, and other public areas.
- Operates and/or drives a variety of light and heavy equipment as directed.
- Provide other services and perform other tasks as requested or assigned by the Director of Parks & Recreation, Deputy Directors of Parks & Recreation, and/or Township Manager.

Requirements:
- Work no more than 30 hours/week
- To be employed for no more than 6 months of the year
