What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service IT Technician position at Hemmersbach?
Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Field Technician who will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional technical support to both consumer and enterprise clients
- Ensuring timely and efficient issue resolution
- Working with desktops, laptops, RPOS systems, and printers
- Delivering a high level of customer service as the on-site representative of the company
- Traveling to client locations and representing Hemmersbach professionally
- Being comfortable with long-distance driving
- Adapting to a high-demand role that may vary depending on location
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience replacing hardware components (Motherboards, Hard drives, etc...).
- Experience in Windows 7-11, MS Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, enterprise anti-virus solutions and IT ticketing systems.
- Willingness to be in an On Call rotation with other team members, including working after hours and weekends
- Valid driver's license, with reliable vehicle with acceptable insurance
- This role is a salary non-exempt position with a targeted salary range of $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 USD annual gross.
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the support provided.
- Performing equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs for clients' desktops, laptops, RPOS. and printers.
- Providing technical support for HP servers and data center equipment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
