What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Coaching Positions position at Hemet Unified School District?
Select, Lead and direct coaching staff
Direct and manage all phases of the girl’s basketball program including in-season, off-season, summer, budgeting, inventory, tournament and public relations.
Maintain and model positive public relations with media, officials, athletes, parents, support group, and school staff and promote the policies of West Valley Mustang Athletics
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of HUSD and CIF rules and regulations and their appropriate and ethical application.
Maintain documentation to fulfill CIF/District requirements for athletes and provide proper safeguards for maintenance/purchase of all safety equipment and related facilities
Be a positive role model to motivate and inspire student athletes and be willing to accept challenges and successfully meet those challenges
Place high emphasis on loyalty, honesty, ethics, integrity, and sportsmanship
Place highest priority on student academic success and social development, in addition to athletic development, in full support of the school's instructional program and overall goals and objectives.
