A lovely family in Bergen County is seeking a part-time nanny for their three children, ages 9, 11, and 13, for an immediate start. Care is needed Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM through June 2026, with the possibility to extend. The 13-year-old is more independent and attends middle school, managing much of their own schedule, while the 9- and 11-year-olds attend elementary school. The 11- and 13-year-olds participate in after-school activities, and the nanny will be responsible for driving them to and from their sessions. The family is looking for a nurturing, supportive, and empowering nanny who connects with children and fosters a warm, caring environment.

- End date: June 2026, possibility to extend
- Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, 3pm-6:30pm
- Compensation: $35 per hour
Responsibilities
- Driving children to and from after school activities
- Engaging with the children
- Light meal preparation for children (reheating and serving)
- School pickups (walkable)
Requirements
- 2 years of paid professional childcare experience
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license, clean driving record and auto insurance coverage
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation Benefits
This position pays $35 per hour, and the family is looking for 10.5 hours of care per week.
- 3 vacation days per year
- 3 sick/personal days per year
- Paid Federal Holidays, if they fall on a scheduled work day
- 10.5 guaranteed weekly hours
