Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and compliant start to their employment. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression and setting employees up for success.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions

Ensure all required employment documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Verify credentials, certifications, and compliance requirements (e.g., licenses, TB tests, background checks)

Maintain employee records and onboarding documentation

Communicate with new hires regarding start dates, schedules, and expectations

Collaborate with HR, scheduling, and management teams to ensure readiness for new employees

Provide ongoing support and answer questions for new hires during their transition period

Track onboarding progress and report on completion metrics
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting, or administrative support preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or HR software systems
Preferred Experience:

Experience in healthcare staffing, caregiving, or CNA onboarding
