Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Montgomery, AL 36106. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of those under their care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisors or family members.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Reliable, patient, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Work Environment
This position involves working in clients’ homes throughout Montgomery, AL 36106. Caregivers may work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on client needs.
