PRESCHOOL CLEANING SPECIALIST
Helping Hands Learning Center is seeking a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Preschool Cleaning Specialist who takes pride in maintaining a clean and fresh environment. This important role helps uphold the standards, appearance, and pride of our Center.
Perform additional cleaning-related responsibilities as assigned to support the overall cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the Center.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the Center by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning floors and surfaces throughout designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including tables, counters, sinks, door handles, and changing areas, with particular attention to designated sanitizing areas as defined in Center procedures.
- Ensure proper waste removal and disposal throughout the Center, keeping designated waste areas clean and orderly.
- Serve as the central point of responsibility for maintaining and monitoring inventory of all custodial, cleaning, and paper goods supplies, ensuring items are properly organized and stocked, and communicating replenishment needs directly to the Director.
- Take primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of eating and common areas, ensuring these shared spaces remain clean, orderly, and well-presented throughout the day.
- Uphold the Center’s established health, safety, and security standards by consistently following all required cleaning procedures and practices.

Successfully complete all required background checks and requirements applicable to working in a licensed childcare environment.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
