About Us:
TLS Auto Specialist is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician who specializes in Toyota and Lexus vehicles. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment where technicians can thrive and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Toyota and Lexus automotive systems, including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Electrical systems
- Steering & suspension
- Brakes
- Air conditioning
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and time estimates
- Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to management
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns effectively
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working specifically with Toyota and Lexus vehicles preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certification (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, especially with Toyota/Lexus systems
- Ability to operate diagnostic and electronic equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
