What You’ll Do
HELP USA is seeking a Safety Monitor to help ensure a safe and secure environment at their assigned facility. Safety Monitors are usually the first contact with our residents when they enter one of our facilities. In addition to ensuring residents' safety, our Safety Monitors help our residents feel welcome and set the tone for their stay. Our Safety Monitors must be alert, vigilant, and courteous to our residents. Responsibilities include patrolling facility grounds, ensuring residents and guests are properly signed in, escorting visitors to proper destinations, conducting unit inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and preparing incident reports when necessary.
You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

New York State security guard license is required.

FDNY F-02 required (For most of our locations, we'll give you 30 days after you start to obtain).

High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills.

Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or capacity to work with homeless families/individuals and/or disadvantaged populations.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed.
