Role
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Director to lead new business development efforts for our legal consulting solutions portfolio, with a focus on the legal, professional services, and finance sectors. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in this space, building strong executive-level relationships, and helping clients navigate compliance, governance, and regulatory complexity with our tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities with law firms seeking to modernise and optimise their finance, practice management, and revenue systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires a strong blend of consultative selling, deep understanding of ERP and financial platforms (3E, Aderant, Clio, etc.), and the ability to build credibility at the Managing Partner, CFO and CTO/CIO level. You will play a critical role in positioning Helm360’s consulting services as the trusted partner for delivering ERP strategy, migrations, cloud transformations, and revenue cycle optimisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Own and drive new business development and strategic sales across North America and other territories, focusing on ERP and finance system consulting services.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, CTOs, CIOs, and senior operations leaders at target law firms.
- Shape and execute go-to-market strategy across outreach, proposals, solution design workshops, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with regional sales directors and delivery leadership to align sales pursuits with Helm360’s global growth priorities.
- Partner closely with the CEO and consulting leadership to provide market feedback, refine solution positioning, and influence productised service offerings.
- Represent Helm360 at industry events, finance and technology roundtables, and webinars to strengthen brand visibility and credibility with senior decision makers.
- Drive revenue growth through both direct sales and strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and ecosystem partners (e.g., Elite, Aderant, Intapp, Oddr).
Qualifications
· 7 years’ experience in solution and consulting services sales, with a strong focus on ERP, finance, and practice management systems (e.g., 3E, Aderant, Clio etc.).
· Deep understanding of the legal sector and/or professional services/financial firms – including their regulatory drivers and operational challenges.
· Strong network of industry contacts, especially in North America.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
