Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide high-quality, in-home speech therapy services for pediatric clients. This part-time position is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with families and supervising SLPs. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children (ages 0–3) by supporting their communication development in natural, familiar environments.
- Service Areas: West Hollywood, Hollywood, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Echo Park, Atwater Village, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Arlington Heights, Carthay Square, Fairfax, Beverly Grove, Hollywood Hills, Burbank
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized speech therapy services in home-based settings, or in preschool settings (when arranged in agreement with parents).
- Address communication needs in areas such as early intervention, articulation, phonology, receptive/expressive language, autism spectrum disorders, AAC, and social communication.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Track, document, and communicate progress clearly and compassionately under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Minimum of 100 hours of supervised clinical fieldwork experience.
- Current California SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and provide proof of liability insurance.
