Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, hotels, and commercial spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
- Execute detailed floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to health standards, paying special attention to high-touch areas
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchens by sanitizing sinks, toilets, counters, appliances, and fixtures
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and minor maintenance issues
- Support housekeeping management with scheduling and quality checks when required
- Use eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible to promote sustainability
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Prior hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with various cleaning tools and equipment including vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Experience with floor care techniques such as waxing or polishing floors is desirable
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments
- Ability to handle laundry operations efficiently and effectively
- Customer service background demonstrating professionalism and positive communication skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeper management roles is a plus
