QC Technician Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• Establish, implement, and enforce quality control standards for the plant while maintaining ISO compliance
• Conduct and oversee testing, inspections, chemical analyses, and measurements of raw materials, in-process products, samples, and finished goods to ensure specification compliance.
• Accurately complete, maintain, and retain quality documentation, reports, calibration records, and issue logs within ISO quality platforms, including SCM and CORE.
• Investigate quality concerns, manage customer complaints, perform defect and root cause analyses, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate quality and testing results to internal stakeholders and account managers,
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and verify laboratory and plant testing equipment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Perform routine plant inspections to support safe, compliant, and efficient operations while minimizing production disruptions.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. Collaborate with Global Quality Management and the North America Performance Coatings team on product launches, documentation, and quality initiatives.
• Assist with plant production activities, travel to company facilities, customer sites, warehouses, and international locations as required.

QC Technician Manager Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of supplier quality processes and tools, including AP/QP, FMEA, 8D, and PPAP.
• Experience managing ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, documentation, calibration records, complaints, audits, and corrective actions.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing, laboratory testing, product launches, defect analysis, and root cause analysis.
