Hello Patient is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective healthcare customers—qualifying inbound interest and creating outbound pipeline that converts to demos.

You’ll work closely with sales leadership to refine messaging, surface insights from the field, and help build the foundation for a world-class go-to-market motion.
Responsibilities
This role offers a base salary typically between $55K and $70K, depending on experience, with an estimated on-target earnings (OTE) of around $100K, plus equity. You’ll also earn a straight 1% commission on all closed leads—a simple, transparent structure designed to reward you for driving and qualifying opportunities that turn into customers.

Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads from website requests, conference lists, and campaigns—running short, thoughtful screens to confirm fit and route to the appropriate sales lead.
- Drive outbound outreach to multi-location clinics, specialty groups, and healthcare networks using targeted email, phone, and LinkedIn sequences.
- Run discovery and handoffs that capture each prospect’s workflow, pain points, and goals—equipping the sales team with clean, actionable context.
- Hit activity goals of roughly 30 calls per day plus tailored email and LinkedIn outreach—focusing on quality, not just volume.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene by keeping CRM records accurate and updated, tracking key metrics and next steps, and participating in weekly pipeline reviews.
- Contribute to GTM playbooks by A/B testing outreach tactics, sharing objection trends, and collaborating on improved messaging and targeting.
- Partner with the sales team to move qualified leads through the funnel—scheduling demos, coordinating follow-ups, and supporting ROI analysis and prep.
- 1 year of experience in a BDR/SDR or field-based healthcare sales role
- Strong communication skills—able to build rapport and credibility with physicians, administrators, and clinical leaders.
- Comfortable with cold calling and confident running structured, engaging conversations that surface needs and convert to next steps.
- Ramp-ready mindset—you’ve had some exposure to a sales process and can apply foundational training quickly in a fast-moving startup.
- Tech-savvy operator familiar with or eager to learn tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Clay, and CRMs.
- Self-starter who is organized, coachable, and motivated by measurable results.
