Lead Recruiter
A growing organization is seeking a Lead Recruiter to take ownership of professional and corporate hiring, with a strong focus on delivering a consistent, well-run onboarding experience.
This is a hands-on, lead-level individual contributor role where you’ll partner closely with leadership to move searches forward while also helping ensure new hires are set up for success from day one. There is real opportunity here to bring structure, improve processes, and make a direct impact on how talent enters and experiences the organization.
Overview
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys managing searches end-to-end, staying organized across multiple priorities, and working closely with hiring managers to get things done. You’ll play a central role in both recruiting execution and early employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Recruiting (Primary Focus)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate and professional roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
- Manage multiple active searches while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Ensure a thoughtful, professional candidate experience from first contact through offer
Onboarding & New Hire Experience (Core Responsibility)
- Own and coordinate pre-hire and onboarding processes, including documentation, compliance steps, and internal workflows
- Support and help facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Partner with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated start for new employees
- Help strengthen onboarding practices over time, including early touchpoints, check-ins, and feedback loops during the first 90 days
Operations & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate and compliant records within recruiting and HR systems
- Track key recruiting and onboarding metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, onboarding progress)
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, communication, and overall efficiency
Future Focus Areas (As the Role Evolves)
- Support development of early-career recruiting efforts (internships, campus outreach)
- Contribute to employer branding and social recruiting initiatives
- Assist with broader talent programs and engagement efforts over time
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or similar) is a plus
Experience
- 5 years of experience in corporate recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment for professional or salaried roles
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in an on-site, fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Experience supporting operational or multi-site environments is a plus
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
