Repackaging Clerk

Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Repackaging Clerk is responsible for providing physical product changes. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Essential Functions:

• Perform repackaging of product to service customer/inventory needs.
• Data enter transactions into ERP system.
• Use and interpret bin locator and date code systems.
• Transfer product using RF scanners.
• Operate scales, bag sealers, and printer for labels.

Other Functions

• Monitor inventory of materials needed (bags, cartons, etc).
• Obtain product knowledge.
• Perform cycle counting duties, as necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Competencies

• Ability to follow instructions on shop orders.
• Use of ERP system.
• Maintain repackaging log daily.
• Ability to use and interpret bin locator , FIFO, and date code systems.

Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Good math skills.
• Appropriate use of PPE.
• Basic computer skills.
• 6 months prior warehouse preferred
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when properly notified to meet the needs of the customer.
