General Labor

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, with guidance from the Warehouse Leads, the general laborer is responsible for warehouse duties to help prepare shipments and assist in other tasks related to warehouse functions. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.

Essential Functions:

• Placing and scanning labels with an RF scanner.
• Shipping cartons, organizing and preparing them for the next process.
• Removing product from conveyor belts and palletizing.
• Preparing boxes/pallets for shipment.
• Labeling.
  
  

Other Functions

• Operate shipping equipment (Wrapper).
• Obtain product knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Success in this role will require

• Ability to listen and communicate with others.
• Ability to use an RF scanner.
  
  

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Use of appropriate PPE. Ability to push/pull// lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
• Preferred six months shipping experience.
