Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust machining/processing solutions for universal product applications. Heavily focused on customer satisfaction through design integrity and superior engineering expertise.
- Tool and clamping fixture technology and processes
- Management of complete projects in regards of engineering of machining processes, tool and clamping fixture technology with coordination to the customer, subsequent departments and suppliers
- Monitoring of processing activities (engineering, schedule and cost review)
- Support during runoff/acceptance of the process
- Support of the proposal group in process design
- Application
- CAM programming, simulation/verification of technology processes
- Programming for machining tests and programs for machine test/tryout
- Support during runoff/service support through NC process and programming expertise
- Support of the proposal group in process design
- Development and design of CNC application programs, technology and special cycles for specific technology processes
- Support for controls development on technology issues
- Project Management
- Ensure project management for customer projects
- Effort control for the processing activity (schedule and cost review)
- Overall project monitoring of engineering and costs
- Planning and securing capacities for customer projects
- Project Field Evaluation and Implementation
- Technical Sales Support / Evaluation
- Feasibility Assessment / Consulting
- Participate in test and commissioning

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 4 year mechanical engineering degree.
- Machining / machine tool experience preferred.
