Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Luxury Sales Professional role based in San Ramon, CA. The Luxury Sales Professional will welcome and engage clients in the showroom, present fine jewelry and timepieces, and provide knowledgeable guidance on product features, materials, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities include building lasting client relationships, handling sales transactions, maintaining accurate records, and meeting individual and store sales goals. The role also involves assisting with merchandising displays, collaborating with gemologists on custom design projects, and supporting store events and client appointments. Daily tasks require a polished, professional presence, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an elevated customer experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated luxury retail or fine jewelry sales experience, with strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and timepieces, or a strong interest and ability to learn product details and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills to guide clients through selection and customization processes.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, basic computer applications, and accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining displays, inventory accuracy, and client records.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends and peak retail hours, and to stand for extended periods in a showroom environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor, reliability, and integrity when working with high-value items.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in gemology or luxury sales is a plus.
