Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of senior care, and a commitment to resident rights.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety and well-being.
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication administration.
- Foster a positive environment for residents, staff, and families, promoting open communication regarding resident rights.
- Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation for the facility.
- Conduct regular assessments of care quality and implement improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance services offered to residents.
Experience
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or a similar role within senior care settings such as group homes or assisted living facilities.
- Strong knowledge of care plans, resident rights, and best practices in home care.
- Background in nursing or healthcare management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
