This position will be based at our Liberty Hill, TX yard and includes some limited travel (30-40%) to project sites as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of construction equipment, including loaders, dozers, trucks, pavers, and trailers.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records for all vehicles and machinery.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts, supplies, and tools; coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Occasionally travel to job sites to perform field repairs or conduct equipment assessments.
- Communicate with project managers and operations teams to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
- Participate in equipment evaluations and make recommendations for replacement or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy construction equipment.
- Technical certification or trade school degree in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
- BILINGUAL in English & Spanish highly desirable.
- Excellent mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient with maintenance tracking systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a solution-focused attitude and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
