We are seeking a computer-savvy Rockstar to join our team! The Area Branch Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations for a location or area designated by the company.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Implement, coordinate, and manage office operations in alignment with STS corporate strategic plan.
- Conduct regular safety meetings in accordance with the company Safety and Illness Prevention Program.
- Implement programs to ensure the attainment of business plan for growth and profit and manage budget.
- Understand the effects of unit pricing on projects to formulate and monitor key metrics.
- Review and provide regular, balanced feedback to staff regarding safety, location’s financial performance, cross-functional and cross-company collaboration, people management, and growth.
- Oversee the daily schedule for accuracy and coverage.
- Participate in the hiring process of employees.
- Communicate with employees regarding corporate initiatives, opportunities, and safety topics.
- Provide resolution to customer service issues to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Coach project managers and employees to build strong relationships with existing customers to increase key cost efficiencies, revenue, and gross margin.
- Verbally communicate, listen, and give presentations as needed.
- 3 years of experience in an operations role, successfully managing people and processes.
- Prior experience preferred in Traffic Control Services or Construction Industry; local experience preferred.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial responsibilities, and accountability.
- Knowledge of sound fiscal management and driving growth resulting in increased revenues.
- Able to communicate and execute new business initiatives and processes while maintaining customer and employee trust and commitment.
- High sense of urgency, energy, and self-motivated
- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems.
- General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
- Occasional site visits: Travel to work sites occasionally for audits, will include standing in different weather conditions.
