Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Environmental Planning, or related field.
- 3 years of experience managing or supporting projects in habitat restoration, environmental construction, natural resource management, landscaping, public works, or related projects.
- Experience with project coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and field operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with native plant identification, habitat restoration practices, invasive species management, stormwater BMPs, erosion control, irrigation systems, and native vegetation management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking platforms.
- Ability to perform project site visits and field oversight in varying terrain and weather conditions.
- Valid California Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Experience leading field crews, coordinating subcontractors, and directing project activities.
- Experience serving as primary client contact, managing project budgets and financial performance
- Experience in preparing proposals, cost estimates and scopes of work.
- Familiarity with public agency contracting, prevailing wage projects, task order contracts, or on-call environmental services contracts.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CERP, QAL/QAC, ISA Arborist, CPSWQ, or related credentials.
