Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pilot in Command located in Rhode Island, Texas, and Ohio. The Pilot in Command will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Day-to-day tasks include pre-flight planning, conducting safety checks, managing flight operations, and coordinating with ground staff and air traffic control. The role also involves post-flight documentation and continuous maintenance of flight logs.
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating
- Extensive flying experience with a minimum of 2,000 flight hours as Pilot in Command
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience in helicopter operations is a plus
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
