Role: As
a Chief Strategy and Performance Officer, you will drive the development and
execution of long-term strategies, focusing on high-impact initiatives.You will work in collaboration with the Chief
Executive Officer to establish the hospital strategic plan, and will be responsible
for leading strategic planning for the hospital. You will also drive operations
of the Hospital working cross departmentally to facilitate improvements in
operational efficiency and achievement of departmental goals, which support the
overall strategic plan of the organization. As well as working in conjunction
with theChief Executive Officer and Director of Fiscal
Management, for the formulation of the Hospital’s annual budget and expenditure
plan.The Chief Strategy and Performance
Officer designs and implements value-based growth strategies, identifying new
business opportunities, clinical service line development and partnerships.
This executive level position will provide strong business intelligence to the
executive leaders of the Hospital providing analysis, projections, return on
investment estimates, and market analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Ten years of experience as an administrator of a staff or support area in a program providing direct comprehensive services for patients in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital, of which three years must have been at a supervisory level.
Substitutions:
A qualifying college degree may substitute for the portion of the general experience as follows: associate’s, two years; bachelor’s, four years; and master’s, five years. Qualifying degrees include: business administration, accounting, nursing, health care administration, business education, marketing, economics, banking and finance, industrial engineering, mathematics, computer networking, commerce, public administration, and industrial management.
Preferred
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance,
Accounting, Public Administration, or Economics. Board Certified in Healthcare Management
as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).Twelve years' of experience in healthcare
services, and a proven record of accomplishment in health care/hospital
environments, particularly in the areas of operational excellence, performance
improvement and growth. Seven years of experience in the analysis and oversight
of driving performance optimization, strategic planning and operational success
within a large public or private sector health care institution with five years
of the experience at a leadership/managerial level. Skilled in Lean methodology
and operational strategies that maximize patient care value by systematically
removing waste and reducing errors, while improving the quality of care.

The posted salary range includes a downstate adjustment of $4,150.
