REQUIRED ABILITIES AND SKIILLS
- Accept, review and coordinate service requests with peers and customers
- Observe, report and address deficiencies throughout the community
- Multitask in a team environment
- Effectively communicate with peers, superiors and customers
- Follow directions and compete all assigned task
- Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry experience and proficiency
- Knowledge of appliance operation and ability to troubleshoot and compete basic repair
- Inspect and service trash rooms, trash chute doors and operate compactor equipment
- Clean/disinfect trash chute doors on the inside and outside
- Knowledge of hand tools and building components
JANITORIAL/HOUSEKEKPING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to complete all janitorial housekeeping functions associated with preparing a vacant apartment in preparation for a new resident.
- Hand dust all common areas including windowsills, etc.
- Sweep and mop floors and area rugs and runners
- Wipe and dust furniture baseboards and saddles
- Squeegee clean all lobby glass interior and exterior
- Thoroughly vacuum rugs/carpeting operate carpet extractor
- Spot clean carpet spots, not exceeding approximately six inches in diameter
- Dust baseboards and saddles
- Sweep, wash and rinse clean the floors in all restrooms using a germicidal detergent to ensure a clean and germ-free surface
- Wash, inside and out, using a disinfectant detergent, all toilet seats, toilet bowls and urinals
- Empty and sanitize all waste receptacles
- Thoroughly wipe down all vertical surfaces, elevators and polish elevator tracks
- Clean/disinfect trash chute doors on the inside and outside
- Police all stairwells, vacuum, sweep or mop as necessary
- Wipe down exercise equipment and TVs
- Police front, side of building, including all entranceways; remove litter around trees and in planters remove litter from courtyards and or breezeways
PERFORM ANY OTHER REASONABLE TASKS REQUIRED BY THE SUPER OR MANAGEMENT
