This role combines SharePoint technical leadership, documentation management, automation, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, including structure, navigation, and permissions
- Review, organize, and consolidate governance documentation (job aids, templates, process maps)
- Recommend and implement repository structure and usability improvements
- Develop and manage automated workflows using Power Automate
- Create dashboards and reports in Power BI to track usage and performance
- Implement advanced SharePoint features (content types, templates, custom views)
- Perform PowerShell scripting for bulk updates and advanced configurations
- Monitor site analytics and optimize user experience
- Provide user support, guidance, and best-practice training
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in SharePoint administration, communications, or governance support
- Strong written and visual communication skills with ability to simplify complex content
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and content management best practices
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with governance standards
- Advanced experience with automation, reporting, or change management
- Advanced SharePoint administration and customization
- Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI
- Microsoft 365 integrations (Teams, OneDrive, Planner)
- PowerShell scripting
- SharePoint security, compliance, and governance practices
