Seeking a detail?oriented Data Analyst to support M&A conversions for Commercial and Business Banking Loan Origination Systems (LOS). This role ensures accurate, compliant migration of loan data from acquired institutions through data mapping, validation, and cross?functional coordination across lending, credit risk, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data mapping and transformation across core banking, lending, credit risk, and Salesforce systems; document field?level logic and validation rules.
- Support ETL processes and conduct pre?/post?conversion audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools; identify data gaps and provide remediation insights.
- Produce data quality scorecards, conversion reports, and actionable insights for leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
- Serve as point of contact for data issues—conduct root?cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and update conversion playbooks.
- Collaborate with project managers, risk, compliance, and IT teams to meet milestones, clarify requirements, and communicate progress to technical and non?technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years in data analysis, mapping, or validation within financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of lending workflows, credit risk, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Salesforce FSC or LOS platforms.
- Familiarity with commercial/business banking products and M&A conversion projects.
- Knowledge of ETL tools, data governance, and Agile/Scrum environments.
