About Heirloom Wealth Management

Heirloom Wealth Management is a rapidly growing independent Registered Investment Advisor managing over $1 billion in client assets. Over the past decade, our firm has built a reputation for disciplined portfolio management and strong, risk-adjusted investment performance across our Separately Managed Account (SMA) strategies.

Our investment philosophy centers on active security selection, thoughtful portfolio construction, and long-term capital compounding. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our investment team and seeking a CFA charterholder to play a key role in research, portfolio management, and trading.

The Opportunity

This role is designed for an investment professional seeking to move beyond traditional analyst responsibilities and develop into a Co-Portfolio Manager within our investment strategies.

You will work directly alongside senior portfolio manager and participate in all aspects of the investment process, including security research, portfolio construction, trading, and risk management. Unlike many traditional analyst roles, this position provides direct involvement in investment decisions and portfolio implementation.

As the firm continues to grow, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to help shape the evolution of our investment strategies and portfolio construction process.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct fundamental research and valuation analysis on equities, ETFs, and other portfolio investments
  • Generate investment ideas and present recommendations to the investment committee
  • Assist in portfolio construction, position sizing, and risk management analysis
  • Execute trades across SMA portfolios in coordination with portfolio managers and compliance
  • Monitor portfolio exposures, performance attribution, and risk metrics
  • Support development of internal investment dashboards and analytics tools
  • Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute to ongoing portfolio strategy discussions
  • Assist with client communications regarding portfolio positioning and investment rationale when appropriate
Career Path

This role is structured as a Portfolio Manager development position. As the analyst gains deeper familiarity with our strategies and demonstrates strong investment judgment, responsibilities will expand toward co-management of our SMA strategies and leadership within the investment process.

Qualifications
  • CFA Charterholder required
  • 2-5 years minimum experience
  • Strong understanding of portfolio construction, security analysis, and financial modeling
  • Experience analyzing public equities and multi-asset portfolios preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and disciplined investment thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $150,000 – $170,000
  • Bonus Potential: Target 20% of base compensation
  • 401(k) Plan with 8% Employer Match
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Opportunity for long-term career advancement within a growing investment firm
