Portfolio Analyst

FLP delivers sophisticated planning, investment management, research, wealth management, and family office services to a range of individuals and families, institutional investors, and single and multi-family offices. We bring a broad range of products and solutions, tailoring our advice to meet clients' needs. The Portfolio Analyst manages trading processes for the investment team and ensures optimized workflows. The Portfolio Analyst is an active member of the Portfolio Analysis Team, and collaborates across multiple teams.  **This role can be based in the following Massachusetts locations: Lynnfield, Needham, or Boston. Portfolio Analyst Duties:Executes and allocates trades across various custodians in collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, and the Asset Allocation CommitteeCompletes post-trade issue resolutionContinually monitors portfolio drift; periodically rebalances to ensure alignment with account objectives, asset allocation, and strategiesProcesses ongoing tax loss harvestingAssists Investment Advisors with transitioning accounts to internal modelsContributes to business development by creating synthetic portfolios based on prospect statements Adheres to guidelines established by the Implementation Committee Coordinates internal action across multiple teams Contributes to the rest of Portfolio Analysis Team to optimize workflowsEssential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Completion of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, economics or another related field; or equivalent years of work experience Preferred progress towards a CFA® designation or possession of a CFA® designation Preferred 1-2 years of trading experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and other software related to business needsMaintain a positive, solutions focused attitudeBe intellectually curious, respectful, and kind throughout all dimensions of the workplaceAbility to use good judgement and always keeps client information confidential Deliver consistent excellent customer service to internal and external customers, colleagues and managementCommunication SkillsUses appropriate communication toolsEffectively expresses ideas & concerns Communicates effectively with prospects/clientsCommunicates effectively with colleaguesMaintains effective working relationshipsContributes to building positive environment F.L.Putnam is an equal opportunity employer.
