The Heights Casino is a family-friendly racket club offering fitness, recreation, dining, and social experiences for members of all ages. Our bar and dining spaces are designed to be welcoming, professional, and community-focused, providing a relaxed environment for members to unwind after workouts, games, and events.
Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-driven Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate understands the importance of responsible alcohol service in a family-oriented setting and takes pride in delivering excellent member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to members and guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Follow all responsible alcohol service laws and club policies
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events, leagues, and private functions
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure a safe, respectful environment
- Support club events, banquets, and private functions
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work in a family-friendly environment with professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be at least [state-required age] years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Weekend, evening, and event availability required
- TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
