We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting TNC Application Engineer to join our team in our Schaumburg, IL office.
YOUR VALUE:
As a vibrant professional who has ample knowledge with TNC and other CNC’s, you will be responsible for spearheading customer trainings. This role will also require the employee to always be up-to-date with current and new product information, market trends and competition offerings. In order to best support this role, you will know how to apply milling and programming techniques in order to show end users and OEM’s that TNC and related products are the best solution for 5-Axis quality machining centers. As well as assist with events and engagements happening at our Schaumburg Connect Hub.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide end user TNC training in house and at customer locations.
- Travel to train customers, support open houses, trade shows and technical seminars within the US, Canada and Mexico.
- Collaborate with other HC departments for anything related to TNC customers and markets.
- Support, technically, field sales so they can successfully close a deal for the TNC product line.
- Utilize manufacturing equipment to demonstrate a digital manufacturing process i.e. State Monitor, Tool Presenter and Touch probes etc.
- Identify potential leads for HC products and pass them on to the lead funnel system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience as a programmer machinist or tool and die/mold maker.
- Knowledge and competence of machining high precision metal components for the Mold-Die, Medical and Aerospace industry.
- Experience or knowledge CAM programming of 3 and 5-Axis machining centers.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
