What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and manage truck flow to keep trucks moving efficiently through the terminal and avoid delays
- Load and unload bulk cement and occasional bagged materials using terminal equipment
- Operate forklifts and terminal equipment to support daily operations
- Perform basic maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting to keep equipment running and minimize downtime
- Assist with ship unloading operations, including call-ins based on shipping schedules
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in warehouse, terminal, manufacturing, or other hands-on industrial environments
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or similar machinery
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to identify and resolve basic equipment issues
- Reliable and flexible with schedule changes, including early starts, overtime, and occasional call-ins
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
