What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment to transport raw materials within the quarry.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Assist with general labor and clean-up duties as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing on and off equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate controls and monitor equipment.
- Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and outdoor environments for long durations.
- Starting Pay $23.00 per hour DOE
