Role Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Architectural Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in Addison, TX. The Architectural Designer will be responsible for creating architectural designs including conceptual site plan, conceptual elevations, schematic plans and so forth, collaborating with team members, and supporting schematic design exhibits and design development initiatives. This role requires attention to detail, strong design capabilities, and coordination with various project stakeholders to bring design concepts to life. The successful candidate will contribute to the innovative and client-focused design solutions that HEDK Architects is known for.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture, Architectural Design, and Design exhibits
- Experience in Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development Drawings and document preparation
- Knowledge of Urban Planning principles and design practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp and other architectural tools
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Previous experience in Multi-Family design is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage project tasks
