Medical Receptionist / Scheduler – Join Our Team!
Hedberg Allergy and Asthma Center is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team! If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and keeping a busy medical office running smoothly, you’ll fit right in. This position requires the ability to work in both our Rogers and Fayetteville locations.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our front office team, you’ll help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Support
- Greet patients with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all information is accurate
- Assist patients with forms, questions, and general office needs
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting
Scheduling & Communication
- Answer calls and help patients get the appointments they need
- Schedule new visits, follow-ups, and procedure appointments
- Coordinate provider schedules and manage appointment reminders
- Provide friendly, clear communication both in person and on the phone
Administrative Tasks
- Verify insurance, collect co‑pays, and assist with basic billing questions
- Enter and update patient information in the EMR
- Handle scanning, filing, faxing, and other office support tasks
- Assist with new patient registration and referrals as needed
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment
- Bring professionalism, reliability, and great communication skills
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software
- Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Good typing speed and accuracy
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- Previous medical office experience is a bonus, but not required
- This position requires the ability to work in both our Rogers and Fayetteville locations
