Hector Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer with strong expertise in React Native mobile application testing, QA automation, API testing, Android/iOS testing, and Agile delivery for a long-term Federal program in Baltimore, MD.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience validating enterprise mobile applications, executing automation testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
β οΈ This is a 100% onsite role (5 days/week) in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and End-to-End testing for React Native mobile applications.
- Validate applications across Android and iOS devices and operating system versions.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Appium, Selenium, Detox, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar frameworks.
- Track and manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, UI/UX teams, and client stakeholders.
- Support UAT, production releases, deployment validation, and post-production testing.
- Follow enterprise QA, accessibility, security, and Agile best practices.
- 10 years of professional IT/QA experience.
- Strong experience testing React Native mobile applications.
- Expertise in Android and iOS mobile application testing.
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and End-to-End testing.
- Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Experience with Appium, Selenium, Detox, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other defect management platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and client-facing skills.
- Experience supporting Federal, State Government, Healthcare, or large Enterprise projects.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, mobile build processes, and release management.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and secure mobile application testing.
