Essential Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement market strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets across multiple Florida markets.
- Distributor Engagement: Assist the distributor relationship model, including business planning, sales cycles, and chain strategies.
- Account Management: Be the primary contact for accounts for on-premise/off-premise/chain accounts, managing relationships with key regional and national chains.
- Business Financials: Collaborate on business planning and monitor financial performance.
- Merchandising & Activations: Work with distribution team to ensure impactful in-store execution, merchandising, and brand activations.
- Local Chain Strategy: Implement strategies to boost sales at the local level and increase market share.
- Sales Tracking & Reporting: Monitor weekly sales, track inventory levels, and suggest purchase orders.
- Event Execution: Plan and oversee promotional events, samplings, and other brand activations. Events will usually take place on weekends and samplings will take place during the evenings.
- Retail Relationships: Work with retail decision-makers on display and feature placements.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and sales forecasts in partnership with distribution partners.
- Market Coverage: Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure comprehensive market and account coverage.
- Pricing & Competitor Analysis: Ensure competitive pricing and margins across your territory
- Innovation & Market Exposure: Identify opportunities for innovative marketing and business exposure.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Sales on shaping market strategy and resource allocation.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or related field study preferred.
- 5 years of experience in distributor sales management or key account management, ideally within the cannabis, beverage, or consumer goods industries.
- Hemp-derived Delta-9 THC product sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel major Florida markets as needed.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong managerial, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (most tastings will take place in the evenings and Saturdays).
