- Electric Motor MechanicResponsibilities:
- 1. Dismantling and detailed inspecting AC and DC Electric motors, through 15,000HP and 13,800v.
- Assembly and Testing of AC and DC Electric motors.
- Test and check Electric motors using:- Meggers
- Low OHM Meters
- Micrometers
- AC/DC Test Panels
- Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester
- Surge Comparison Tester
- Bar to Bar Tester
- Document and record all readings/measurements in tablet-based job packets.
- Adhere to all Customer requirements and specifications.
- This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader.
