If you love solving complex mechanical and electrical puzzles, this role puts you at the center of high-impact repairs on AC and DC electric motors through 15,000HP and 13,800v.
Your impact
- Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose AC/DC electric motors—identify wear, damage, and restoration needs.
- Reassemble to spec and validate performance on our AC/DC Test Panels.
- Execute comprehensive testing using:
- Meggers
- Low OHM Meters
- Micrometers
- AC/DC Test Panels
- Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester
- Surge Comparison Tester
- Bar to Bar Tester
- Document every reading and measurement in tablet-based job packets.
- Adhere strictly to all Customer requirements and specifications.
Reporting structure
This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader.
