5th Grade Lead Teacher - Judaic Studies

Hebrew Academy on Miami Beach is seeking a 5th grade lead Judaic Studies teacher for a full-time position beginning in August 2026. Our Judaic teachers are passionate about instilling a deep appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, and values and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students. The Ideal Candidate Will: •Be genuinely passionate about teaching Judaic Studies •Foster an understanding and appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, the study of Torah, Tefillah, and the people and land of Israel. •Help students develop into responsible global citizens and proud representatives of the Jewish people, instilling a commitment to social justice. •Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and personal integrity in all aspects of their role. Responsibilities: As an 5th grade Limudei Kodesh teacher, you will teach all core Judaic subjects to a co-ed class of approximately 20 students. In addition, you will: •Contribute to the holistic development of your students •Nurture the student’s connection to Judaism •Guide students towards becoming informed, compassionate individuals.
