Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at Boone Health in Columbia, Missouri. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong critical-care experience who is comfortable working night shifts in a hospital ICU.
Candidates must select either a 36-hour or 48-hour weekly schedule for the duration of the contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the facility's Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards.
Qualifications
- Active, current RN license applicable to Missouri practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Previous ICU or critical-care nursing experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Availability for every-other-weekend rotation and required holiday coverage.
Schedule and Contract Details
- 13-week contract.
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
- Choose either 36 or 48 hours per week for the full contract.
- No regular on-call requirement.
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend.
- Holiday coverage is required.

Compensation
