Warehouse Processing Associate - Widow Jane

This position is onsite and based at Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This is a full time role working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

What The Role Is

The Widow Jane Distillery is looking for a Warehouse Processing Associate who is proficient on the Forklift and comfortable driving a 12' Penske Box truck. This position will work closely with the operations and production team to learn and assist with the daily functions of warehouse and distillery production.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Rearranging and stacking warehouse inventory and barrels
• Loading and unloading trucks on forklift
• Transporting inventory from one warehouse to another via Penske Truck
• Pulling samples, bottling, labeling, packing, and other distillery tasks
• Assisting in assembling whiskey blends
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested
  
  

Who You Are…

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of work-related manufacturing experience, preferably in a brewery, winery or distillery
• Minimum 3 years of experience driving a forklift and/or box truck preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license
• OSHA and handling of Hazardous Materials training a plus
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter
